Men's Health

Not feeling yourself? It's okay to reach out.

We're a safe, no-pressure space for men to talk, get support, and find their footing again.

You're not alone. We're here — free, confidential, and no referral needed.

What's going on for you?

Tell us what's going on and we'll help you work out what to do next.

Not sure if this applies to you?

Call us on 1300 139 188 — it's free, confidential, and there's no wrong reason to call.

Men in regional communities carry a lot.

Work pressure. Financial stress. Family strain. Isolation. And often an unspoken expectation to just get on with it.

Carrying things alone for too long takes a toll. It doesn't have to be that way.

We're not a crisis line and we're not a counselling service. We're a community organisation that genuinely gives a damn about the people in this region — and we want to hear from you.

You don't need to be in crisis. You don't need to have the right words. You just need to pick up the phone.

What we can help with

There's no checklist you have to tick. If something's weighing on you, that's enough.

Feeling overwhelmed or burnt out
Isolation and loneliness
Work stress and pressure
Relationship or family difficulties
Financial stress affecting your mental health
Not knowing where to get help
Connecting with local support groups
Referrals to mental health, counselling, or other services

How we help

We meet you where you're at — no expectations, no pressure.

Someone to talk to

Sometimes you don't need advice — you just need to say it out loud to someone who'll actually listen. That's fine. We're here for that. No agenda, no pressure to do anything you're not ready for.

Community connection

Feeling isolated is one of the hardest parts of living in a regional area. We can connect you with local groups and programs where you can meet people and build a support network — on your own terms.

Referrals to the right support

If what you're going through goes beyond what we can help with directly — mental health, substance use, relationship breakdown, grief — we know who to call. We'll make sure you get to the right support without having to figure it all out yourself.

How to get help

It's simple. No forms, no waiting list, no referral.

1

Pick up the phone

You don't need to know what to say. You don't need to have it figured out. Just call and tell us what's going on.

2

We'll listen — properly

No rushing, no clipboard, no judgment. Just a real conversation with someone who gives a damn.

3

We'll work out what might help

We'll talk through your options — whether that's talking more with us, connecting with a local group, or getting you to the right specialist support.

Office hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. If you're in crisis outside of hours, call 13 11 14 (Lifeline — 24/7, free).

A few things worth knowing before you call.

It's completely free

There's no charge for any of our support. Ever.

It's confidential

What you tell us stays with us. We won't share your information without your permission.

No referral needed

You don't need a doctor or anyone else to send you. Just call.

You don't have to be in crisis

If something's weighing on you — even if it doesn't feel 'serious enough' — that's a good enough reason to reach out.
